Howard S. Hogan is a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP where he co-chairs the firm’s Fashion, Retail and Consumer Products Practice Group. Mr. Hogan’s practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and counseling. He is counsel of record on Nike’s amicus brief in Apple v. Samsung, arguing that the Supreme Court should maintain rigorous protections for design patents. Mr. Hogan is co-author of the PLI treatise Fashion Law and Business: Brands & Retailers and two chapters of AIPLA’s treatise Intellectual Property Law in Cyberspace. Mr. Hogan clerked for Hon. Naomi Reice Buchwald (SDNY).
